2/13NM 4ply Stärke und 1/16NM Einzelstränge mit Verdickungen

Von Johnstons in Elgin gesponnen und verzwirnt mag sich dieses Garn etwas härter anfuehlen als unsere extra weichen Qualitäten. Es ist aber natürlich dennoch angenehm weich und in wunderbaren kräftigen Farben erhältlich. Das Garn ist locker verzwirnt und gut ausbalanciert und gibt ein sehr schönes Strickbild sowohl per Hand als auch per Maschine.

Die 1/16NM Garne mit Verdickungen (slubs) sind eine der Spezialitäten von Todd & Duncan (bekannt als "Knops") mit einer Hauptfarbe, ein locker gesponnener Einzelstrang mit Verdickungen, in den kleine "Slubs" anderer Fraben hineingesponnen wurden - ein sehr interessanter Effekt.
