Erzeugt aus hochqualitativen 100% Kaschmir Singles (zumeist von Johnstons oder anderen erstklassigen UK Spinnereien) wird dieses Garn maschinell gezwirnt und mit Dampf behandelt um eine ausbalancierte Qualität zu erhalten. Viele Dieser Singles waren ursprünglich fürs Weben gedacht und sind stärker gedreht, ergeben daher ein etwas stärkeres Garn und auch nach dem Waschen bleibt dieses Garn etwas härter im Griff als unsere weicher versponnenen 2/7NM Garne. Ausgezeichnete Trageeigenschaften gepaart mit einem wunderschönen Strickbild und besondere Langlebigkeit zeichen diese Qualität aus. Bei manchen Garnen sind individuelle Notizen angemerkt, z.B. wenn doppeltes verzwirnen einen weicheren Griff ergibt.
Die 1/3,5NM Garne fühlen sich ähnlich an, sind aber von erstklassigen UK Spinnereien erzeugte Einzelstränge mit einer toll crinkeligen Textur. Weil es Einzelstränge sind haben die 1/3,5NM Garne noch ein wenig Restdrehung.
Die 1/14NM Garne sind ebenfalls Einzelstränge (Singles), aber locker gesponnen und mit Dampf behandelt. Ursprünglich waren sie für das Weben dicker Schals gedacht. Sie ergeben eine äußerst attraktive Textur, weicher als die anderen Garne in dieser Sektion, aber immer noch nicht unser weichstes Kaschmir... Diese Garne werden "Handgesponnen" oder "HS Garn" genannt, obwohl sie maschinell gesponnen sind und danach in einer "Cottage Industrie" gefärbt wurden. Wir weisen darauf hin, dass einige unserer Kunden denken, diese Garne ergeben ein faszinierend rustikales Gewebe, andere jedoch sind der Ansicht dass es einfach nur schwieriger ist, sie zu verstricken.
