we got this yarn direct from Todd and Duncan, who have put together 6 strands (2 x 3) of their normal pirate (dark navy blue) 2/28NM lace weight yarn. Die 18/46er sind um einiges dicker und ergeben ca. 384 Meter (420 yards) pro Kone oder ca. 1.140 Meter (1.250 yards) pro 454g (1lb). Sie werden für uns aus Cobweb Stärken von Carriaggi verzwirnt, zuerst mit 3 Fäden und dann drei Fäden wieder davon in die andere Richtung, was eine herrliche Struktur und Weichheit nach dem Waschen ergibt.
