2/13NM 4ply weight and 1/6NM singles slubby

These yarns have a slightly crisper feel than our fluffiest yarns but they are still lovely and soft and the range of vivid solid colours is awesome. The yarn is spun and twisted by Johnstons of Elgin, reasonable loosely but nicely balanced, giving good stitch definition for hand or machine knitting...

The 1/6NM slubby yarns are a Todd & Duncan special, all known as knops, with one main color of a slubby (soft spun) cashmere with little slubs of other colors spun into it. Quite an interesting effect.

2/13NM 4ply weight and 1/6NM singles slubby

As 2/13NM yarns these should give 1,050 yards per cone, 3,250 yards per lb, and 28-32 stitches for a 4" swatch, using US 0-1 needle, 2-2.75mm. The 1/^Nm yarns will give 1,000 yards per cone, 3,000 yards per lb. Please post your experiences of using these yarns (especially photos and etails of items made) below...
