2/14NM 4ply weight

Spun by Todd & Duncan of Kinross or Hinchliffes of Yorkshire, these yarns are a good weight for machine or hand knitting and are nice and soft too. many of them are marls (2 different colors twisted together) with some great shade combinations

As 2/14NM yarns these should give 1,150 yards per cone, 3,500 yards per lb, and 28-32 stitches for a 4" swatch, using US 0-1 needle, 2-2.75mm. Please post your experiences of using these yarns (especially photos and details of items made) below...

Note some of these yarns came in on smaller cones, so any purchase of a 150g cone could be sent on 2 smaller original cones (sSome of these cones are used for the photos) you normally get extra yarn that way but please let us know if that would be a problem.

This is my progress so far (13.7.07) up to clue 3 using the 4-ply 2/14. The colour is a 2-tone purple and is much darker than this picture. Beautiful for knitting lace.
