soft dk and heavy dk and aran pure cashmeres

We have now moved many of our yarns from this site to our beta development site at www.colourmart2.com (you have to register again for that site, sorry)..

These yarns are either twisted by the original mills from their finer cashmere yarns or we have had them especially twisted for us

The 4/14NM yarns and 8/28NMs, give 570 yards per cone (1,750 yards per lb). You should get about 20-24 stitches on a 4 inch swatch from this yarn, using US 5-6 or 3.75-4 mm needles. Details of washing and knitting should be found in our knowledge base section, and if you have any examples of items you have already knitted with it we would be very grateful if you would post details (and photos if possible) below.

The 18/46s are considerably thicker, giving about 420 yards per cone (1,250 yards per lb). They are twisted up for us from Carriagi spun cobweb weights, first into 3 strands and then three strands of the result twisted the opposite way, giving a great structure and softness after washing.

The 4/7s are covered on their listings..
