2/28NM lace weight

These yarns are spun by Todd & Duncan of Scotland, one of the top cashmere mills in the world. Made from the best Mongolian cashmere fibres they are beautifully soft with the T&D trademark - vibrant colours... Note that a few of these yarns are spun and dyed by Hinchcliffes of Yorkshire, Loro Piana of Italy or another Italian mill rather than Todd & Duncan, if they are it says so on the listing.

As 2/28NM yarns these give 2,300 yards per cone, 7,000 yards per lb, and should give around 32-36 stitches on a 4 inch swatch, using US 2-5, 2.5-3.75 mm needles. Please add your experiences with these yarns (especially with pictures!) below. You can find articles about knitting and washing these yarns in our Knowledge Base section..

Note:

- we will wind multiple plies of these yarns onto cone for no extra charge, just let us know how many plies when you pay...

- some of these yarns came in on smaller cones, so by the time we get to the last few 150g cones for sale, we might actually send 2 or even 3 (never more) smaller cones instead of one 150g one. You usually get more yarn that way, but if that would be a problem for you please let us know...

- the size of the cones in the pictures may vary, the amount for sale is always 150g...
