Cashmere/wool and fingering weight
The 2/14s cash/wools are from Todd & Duncan of Scotland and with 30% cashmere in the mix and Geelong wool they do feel coarser than the higher proportion cashmere yarns but are stronger and more defined. The 25%/75% cashmere/wool mix yarns were sold by Todd & Duncan under the brand Heather... and the 3/14NM yarns are 35% cashmere, 65% lambswool with two tight spun strands, one colored, one white and one white soft spun slubbby strand, giving a softer feel and lovely texture, originally sold under the Crofter brand by T&D - note the soft spun slubs can make this yarn a bit more delicate than you might expect..
