These yarns are mill twisted for us from 4 strands of the laceweight yarns, spun by Grignasco, one of the top Italian mills, that we sell in the lace weight sction. Made from the best angora and lambswool fibres they give better stitch definition and strength but still with a lovely soft halo.

The fibre composition is angora 25%, lambswool 75%. As 8/28NM (4 x 2/28NM) yarns these give 580 yards per cone, 1,750 yards per lb, and should give around 20-24 stitches on a 4 inch swatch, using US 5-6, 3.75 - 4 mm needles.
