Hand washed skeins

If we are honest we would say that most of our yarns were intended to be knitted in the oiled state, then washed. BUT some people prefer to knit with the final yarn, and these skeins are a great way to see how our yarns turn out. Plus (to any non knitters looking to buy one...) these skeins make great presents for any knitter!..

All the skeins are 100% cashmere unless otherwise specified..

As for the skeins, we wind them on a very solid electric skein winder made by James Heals & Sons of Halifax a long time ago, then wash them in hot water and detergent (Fairy Liquid usually), then rinse with hair conditioner...
