Los hilados 1/2NM son girados en Escocia usando mohair, teñidos para dar un arco iris de colores en cada hilado (con excepción de los colores sólidos).. La composición de la fibra es de 78% mohair, 13% lana, 9% nylon.

Los hilados 2/7NM (nuestro hilado peso dk normal) fueron girados en el Reino Unido para la fabricación de vestimentas de mohair. Ciertamente tienen una linda gama de colores y son suaves. Su composición es de 50% mohair ó 30%, el resto es acrílico...

Los hilados 1/2NM dan alrededor de 330 yardas por cono, 1,000 yardas por libra. Son un poco menos gruesos que nuestros hilados de peso aran, pero más gruesos que nuestros hilados de peso dk. Estos hilados se siente como encerados en vez de engrasados, y no deben florecer mucho después del lavado.
