カシミア・ウール 太目の合太
6/20NMは1/20NMの二本撚りを更に3本撚りに、6/12NMは1/12NMの二本撚りをさらに3本撚りにしています。撚りの一部は機織り用毛糸ですので、紡ぎはややきつめです。
6/14NM、5/14NMと10/28NMはスコットランドのトッド＆ダンカン製でもともとヘザーというブランド名で販売されていました。（6/14NM、10/28NMは当店のためにトッド＆ダンカンの極細を紡績工場で撚り合わせています。）カシミアの率は30％、残りはジーロンメリノです。もっとカシミアの割合の高い毛糸より硬めですが、丈夫でしっかりしており、厚手の丈夫な、長持ちのする衣類用に適しています。
毛糸の長さは欧米のお客様のためにヤードで記されていますが、メートル表記は左の写真下の説明をご覧ください。

This yarn is twisted for us from some cashmere/wool fine yarns originally spun by Gardiner of Selkirk. We are not sure of the exact fibre percentages but the double twisting has given a great rope like look and feel, soft after washing. It gives about 270 yards per cone, 800 yards per lb.
